1. Joel Veltman
This summer, the 32-year-old former Ajax player’s contract will expire after one year.
Albion will lose his experience if he left, although Tariq Lamptey and Jack Hinshelwood should be returning for
right back the next season due to injuries. He was a dependable presence.
2. Gross Pascal
Should the player of the year choose to depart, it would be a hard one.
Although Gross has previously mentioned a possible return to the Bundesliga for family and professional
reasons, De Zerbi would really like to keep him. Hopefully, he remains.
3. James Milner
Due to a thigh injury, the former Liverpool player, whose contract expires this summer, has not played since the
defeat at Luton. De Zerbi claims he wants to stay, and the club needs to make a significant decision on the 37-
year-old.
