Joe Hart, the goalkeeper for Celtic, announced his retirement at the end of the season, claiming he wanted to “smash through the finish line” even though he felt “physically great”.

Recently, the 36-year-old keeper for Manchester City and England informed Celtic that his third season in Glasgow will be his last.

According to manager Brendan Rodgers, Hart, a 75-time international player, will be a “huge miss to the game”.

Hart has won six cup medals with both City and Celtic in addition to his double title victory both north and south of the border.
