Brighton striker Evan Ferguson has been linked with a big-money move to Stamford Bridge amid speculation during the January transfer window

Evan Ferguson, a Brighton phenomenon, is apparently on Chelsea’s shopping list. However,

Todd Boehly and important players behind the scenes may have to shell out a lot of money to land their man.

Ferguson, 19, is currently one of Europe’s most sought-after residences.

Having scored six goals in his first 24 outings for Brighton this season, the Irishman should continue to improve with age.

Ever when American businessman Boehly entered the boardroom, Chelsea has made significant expenditures.

Their net expenditure is getting closer to £1 billion, and if they win the race for Ferguson, who is thought to be worth approximately £100 million,

they will most likely cross into the tens of millions.Brighton striker Evan Ferguson has been linked with Chelsea.

According to reports from The Evening Standard, Stamford Bridge is showing interest in Ferguson,

and there is a lot of current conjecture over his future on the south coast. The story claims Brighton,

however, is prepared to stand its ground and make sure the frontman stays put for the foreseeable future.

The two teams have a working connection because Chelsea and the Seagulls just last summer worked together on a deal for Moises Caicedo.

Despite having already paid £115 million for Caicedo, Brighton does not appear to be under any imminent rush to cash in on Ferguson.

However, Blues fans can afford to have dreams, right? This season, Chelsea’s search for a new striker has dominated the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to give his struggling mid-table team a killer instinct, and Ferguson and other potential targets like Victor Osimhen are in the mix.

Although Chelsea does not lack quality in other areas,

they have been unable to use Christopher Nkunku for more than 152 minutes in all competitions since his own sensational transfer due to persistent issues in their treatment room.

Ben Chilwell and Reece James are two more of the people who are currently unavailable.

Pochettino has an abundance of well-known players to base his squad on when everyone is healthy and available,

and Ferguson would be a perfect fit in the offensive midfield both now and in the future

. If Chelsea decides to open their wallets in the January transfer window once more, they may choose this ideal starting lineup.
