Brighton striker has sealed a 4-years contract with Chelsea amid West Ham interest

A journalist this week said that Chelsea had placed another Brighton player “under consideration” for this

summer’s transfer window.

It has been evident for some time now that Chelsea wants to recruit a new striker. However, as the season

comes to a conclusion, they will be considering a number of other positions that they could want to attempt to

improve in as well. Because the summer window is longer and teams are more eager to sell players who are not

halfway through the season, it is always far busier than the winter window.

Chelsea’s first priority is still finding a new striker, and the names keep coming in. The most recent information

on a few people can be found in Ben Jacobs‘ 90-minute story this week.

According to Jacobs, Chelsea is reportedly considering Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, since the 19-year-old is well-

liked by a number of the team’s recruitment staff members.

I would be shocked if Chelsea ended up spending a lot of money to sign Ferguson since he has had a quieter

season and has slipped off in terms of form.

The most talked-about target is Victor Osimhen; recent rumors in Italy even stated that Chelsea and Napoli had

been discussing a trade in which Romelu Lukaku would move the other way.

However, Jacobs has expressed significant disapproval of those connections.

He claims that Romelu Lukaku has not been made available by Chelsea as a makeweight in a potential trade for

Victor Osimhen of Napoli. There doesn’t appear to be a favorite or obvious front-runner at this time as Chelsea

is still evaluating their summer budget and a number of striker options. Negotiations are not yet commenced.

Additionally, it appears that Chelsea is currently making every effort to play it close to the vest.
