Tottenham have reportedly turned their attentions to Brentford’s Thomas Frank over the vacant permanent manager’s job at the club.

TalkSPORT reports that Frank’s ideal replacement for chairman Daniel Levy at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Frank, and Spurs are now thinking about making a bid for him. There is also allegedly interest in Brendan Rodgers.

Ryan Mason will serve as interim manager for the remainder of the season as the club searches for a new long-term manager. The search has not gone well thus far. They declined the opportunity to re-appoint Mauricio Pochettino after dismissing Antonio Conte, and the former Chelsea manager now appears headed for Chelsea. Despite being connected to the position, neither Vincent Kompany nor Julian Naglesmann are likely to be appointed.

Frank has been a tremendous asset to Brentford since he was elevated from assistant manager in 2018. Under his leadership, they have played well in both of the Premier League seasons and were promoted in 2021.

Mason will manage their remaining league games in the near future; their next game is on Saturday, May 20, against Frank’s Brentford. On the last day of the season, they depart for Leeds.
