If you’d offered Mikel Arteta the chance to be in this position at the start of the season he probably would have taken it. With two games to go Arsenal sit top of the Premier League, but knowing they need a slip up from Manchester City in order to win a first title in 20 years.

With the margins so fine though, it’s hard not to wonder what might have been if the Gunners had been more clinical in earlier games in the season.
