Premier League rival trying to ‘beat’ Liverpool in $33M transfer race for Brazilian wonderkid

Prior to the summer transfer window, Liverpool has been connected to several talented prospects.

For a 19-year-old winger, it has competition from Premier League competitors.

Wesley Gassova, a teenage player from Brazil, may be signed by West Ham before Liverpool does, according to reports.

The 19-year-old and other promising prospects in South America are reportedly being watched by the Reds.

Luis Guilherme, a midfielder for Palmeiras who has been compared to legendary former Barcelona and AC Milan player Ronaldinho,

has already been a possible transfer target. Last month, The Daily Mail revealed that many teams,

including Liverpool, were keeping an eye on the young player.

Wesley seems to be under observation now that The Standard reported that Anfield was showing interest in him.
