appears destined to take over at the London Stadium.

Moyes’s contract expires this summer, and concerns regarding his future have been raised all season long.

With West Ham having only won one of their last nine Premier League games—a 5-0 thumping at

the hands of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday—that conjecture has only grown in recent months.

When asked if he was frustrated by the club’s relationships with other managers after the game,

Moyes replied, “I’ll speak with the board at the conclusion of the season.” Then, we will do it.

“As the manager, I accept responsibility, but some of the players must do the same,

” he continued. I’m sorry for the supporters; my teams don’t typically lose to squads like these.

However, we lack some of the necessary components, such as leadership and mental toughness,

to avoid being repeatedly battered. All I can say is that I truly apologize for how the game transpired.”

It is reported that Lopetegui and West Ham reached an arrangement for

him to become head coach instead of manager, replacing Moyes.

In the event that Moyes is fired, Tim Steidten, the technical director,

will supervise the head coach closely and have greater influence over hiring.
