After a stellar season away from the Amex Stadium at Bundesliga team Stuttgart this season

Deniz Undav could return to the south coast, according to exclusive GIVEMESPORT sources.

Undav was a standout for

Brighton & Hove Albion towards the end of the previous campaign, scoring a ton of goals that helped the

Seagulls qualify for the Europa League.

Undav was acquired by the Seagulls for £6 million in January 2022 from sister team Union Saint-Gilloise in

Belgium. After being loaned back to the Benelux team until the beginning of the previous season, he was

prepared to play first-team football on the south coast, but he did not receive many minutes. Due to the success

of his teammates, he didn’t start in the Premier League for the club until February 2023 against Bournemouth.

Despite this, Undav scored his first goal under Roberto De Zerbi on his third start in April, and he went on a

five-goal run in his next eight games to finish the season strongly for the Seagulls.

A fantastic total for a rookie, five goals in six starts and 617 minutes of Premier League play later, he was sent

on season-long loan to Stuttgart because Joao Pedro and Evan Ferguson were ahead of him in the standings.

Everything has gone according to plan; after registering 18 goals and 10 assists in 28 Bundesliga games, he

caught the attention of his parent club. GIVEMESPORT insiders have exclusively disclosed that the club is

considering bringing him back into the fold.

Undav Might Go Back to Brighton and Battle for Position

The German is having a great time in his job.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Undav may decide to return to Brighton for a second shot at the Premier

League given his record of either a goal or an assist per game in the Bundesliga.

Undav has a buy option with Stuttgart, and since the team is predicted to make it to the Champions League,

there may have been opportunity to retain him should they advance to the continent’s top championship.

With just three Premier League games remaining and Brighton having scored 19 fewer goals than they did the

previous season, their option is not assured.
