Agreement have been made for leeds man to leave for Real Betis on loan if the Whites aren’t successful in the upcoming playoffs

Leeds United may be three games away from returning to the Premier League, but fans should not be unduly excited about their chances of making the playoffs.
It’s a route to promotion that Leeds has never taken, and it could cause problems for players currently on loan.
According to the player himself, Marc Roca’s contract has a clause that allows him to leave on loan again if Leeds are not promoted to the Premier League this season.

With that, Mundo Deportivo provides additional information, revealing that Betis would still prefer to sign him permanently at some point.

However, if Leeds fail to progress, they will be looking at a lower price tag in the summer of 2025, knowing that Roca will only have one year left on his contract at that point.

If Leeds make the Premier League next season, that loan clause will no longer be applicable, adding to Roca’s anxiety.

The issue is that Leeds’ very modest asking price, as noted in the report, is €10 million (£8.6 million), which Betis believes is excessive.

After impressing in midfield and centre-back this season, it would not be shocking if another La Liga club took a chance on him.
