Stephan A. Smith Heaps of Praise For T-Wolves Star Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards is the breakout star of the 2023-2024 NBA season. He was a star in his first three seasons, but in this year’s regular season and playoffs, he surpassed that status.

After a sensational 43-point performance to help Minnesota steal game one on the road against the Denver Nuggets, Edwards is the talk of the entire NBA.

That included ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith. Stephen A. praised Anthony Edwards on Sunday.

When you’re compared favorably to Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, it’s a positive sign.

If you’re not a big NBA fan, this may sound ludicrous. After all, how many players have been compared to Michael Jordan and failed to measure up?

But, believe me, Anthony Edwards is one of the few players in history who combine Jordan’s incredible agility with a high level of talent. Again, I’m not suggesting he’ll ever be regarded the GOAT, but the likeness is uncanny.

If, and this is a big if, the Timberwolves can find a way to somehow upset the defending champion Nuggets in this series, Anthony Edwards will cement himself as one of the faces of the entire league.
