Jewell was slated to begin work in November, but it has since been announced that he will start in the summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, the former head of recruitment at Brighton, he will begin his new post at Chelsea when the season ends.
In his Daily Briefing, he stated, “The green light has arrived for former Brighton head of recruitment Sam Jewell to begin his new job at Chelsea.”
Todd Boehly and Mauricio Pochettino expect the forthcoming summer transfer window to be significant. After a season of inconsistency, the Blues have kept their European chances alive in recent weeks, bolstered by a 5-0 victory over West Ham.
