49ers officially signs deal with “BRUNO GUIMARAES” For Leeds United on a free transfer

According to Bloomberg, Seattle-based private equity firm

Ackerley Partners has acquired a minority share in Leeds United from the club’s owners, 49ers Enterprise.

The Ackerley family owns the holding firm, which was established more

than 20 years ago following the $800 million sale of the Ackerly Group.

Among Ackerly Partners’ investors are well-known athletes like James Dayson,

a race car driver, and Cliff Avril, a former NFL player. However, it’s unclear how much of a role they have in the club’s daily operations.

The precise information on the transaction’s value or the percentage of sales has not been made public.

Ackerley Partners, however, reaffirmed its commitment to provide strategic finance for

the club’s commercial and football operations growth.
