Newcastle United and Bayern Munich agree a transfer fee of €69.7M plus add-on bonus for their Brazilian star

The Brazil international midfielder is being questioned about his future at St James’ Park as

the Magpies struggle to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Sales may be necessary to tick those boxes,

with Bruno having obvious appeal to rivals throughout Europe.

According to The Mirror, PSG, the big-spending Ligue 1 club, is interested in the South American playmaker.

According to reports, the French capital has made first contact and is in talks with Bruno’s advisors.

Real Madrid is also thought to be interested in the classy 26-year-old, but he will not come cheap if a deal is reached.

Bruno, who joined Newcastle from Lyon in January 2022 for £34 million ($43 million),

has since agreed to a new contract that contains a nine-figure release clause.

Bruno is thought to be in no hurry to leave Newcastle after being warmly welcomed by the club’s devoted fan base,

and he will not upset the apple cart on Tyneside by pursuing a transfer.

He and his family feel at ease in England, and he is on track to make 100 appearances for Newcastle.
