IPSWICH TOWN secured promotion back to the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at home on the Championship’s final day.

Kieran McKenna of Fermanagh has led the Tractor Boys to straight promotions following their League One success last season.

They return to England’s top division for the first time in almost 20 years when Wes Burns and Omari Hutchinson scored goals either side of halftime to secure a comfortable win over relegated Huddersfield Town.

They eventually fell 2-1 to the Saints, with Republic of Ireland international Will Smallbone scoring the winning goal after 35 minutes.
