That’s according to a report from TeamTalk, who claim that the 37-year-old’s effect at Portman Road is winning him fans around the London Stadium.

After accepting a coaching position at Manchester United, McKenna was named manager of Ipswich in December 2021, when the team was midtable in League One.

During the 2022–2023 season, he led Ipswich to promotion from League One to the Championship in his first full season there.

The Tractor Boys are currently vying for a spot in the Premier League for the upcoming season as a result of that and another promotion drive this season.
