On the last day of the regular Championship season, Ipswich is one point away from achieving

back-to-back automatic promotions to the Premier League.

With simply a victory over the Terriers at home, Kieran McKenna’s team can make history by

becoming the first since Norwich City to win back-to-back promotions from League One and the Championship.

To have a chance of finishing in the top two, Leeds United must shock their west Yorkshire rivals

with a victory, but Clarke stated he does not see it happening.

The former EFL player noted that Ipswich has only lost once at home in the league this season,

and if they take the lead early, they have the potential to destroy Huddersfield at Portman Road.

“They might go and smash Huddersfield and have their knees up at Portman Road if they score early.”

The lone home loss they had was to Leeds, a team that Ipswich is expected to beat en route to automatic promotion.
