With eight points separating them from the Rangers in second place,

Aaron Rodgers’ club is looking to add an eighth championship to their collection this year.

In the summer of 2010, Rodgers moved to Swansea City,

a Championship team, following brief stints at Watford and Reading.

And the 46-year-old was instantly popular,

leading the Welsh team to a third-place finish and promotion through the play-offs.

Swansea became the first Welsh club to be promoted to the Premier League after defeating Reading 4-2 in the final.

Swansea’s first Premier League season under Rodgers was equally successful;

despite many analysts’ predictions that they would be relegated,

the squad finished a respectable 11th place, earning points against Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
