JUST IN: Callum McGregor finally makes a career decision to leave Celtic this summer.

According to Football Insider, Celtic are concerned that Callum McGregor may sign a contract with Leicester City during the summer transfer window.

There have been rumors that Leicester is hoping to sign McGregor this summer from Celtic.

When he managed the Hoops, Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester, collaborated with the 27-year-old Scotland international midfielder.

The experienced midfielder is apparently open to a £20 million approach from the Foxes, and the Hoops are concerned that he would be lured to the Premier League given the Glasgow giants’ midweek Champions League elimination.

Celtic stay

For the entirety of his professional club football career to date, McGregor has been signed to Celtic.

It is difficult to envisage the Scotland international, a multiple winner, leaving the Hoops this summer.

Although it’s possible that the 27-year-old would be lured to play in the Premier League, McGregor will be driven to help the Glasgow giants win their tenth Scottish Premiership this season and establish himself as a legend among the Celtic Park supporters.

Furthermore, Leicester will not participate in the Champions League the following year.
