Leicester City and Leeds United are interested in signing Anselmo García MacNulty from PEC Zwolle during the summer transfer window.

The centre-back joined the Eredivisie side on a free transfer last summer and has starred in his debut season,

scoring one goal and assisting twice in 29 appearances.

According to Tuesday’s edition of AS, he is having a ‘great season’ at PEC Zwolle, and his impressive performances have piqued the interest of Leicester, Leeds, and other clubs.

The 21-year-old is on the radar of several teams, including the Championship pair and Club Brugge.

Leicester and Leeds have competed for immediate promotion to the Premier League. The Foxes have already clinched it, but not the Whites. The latter are in second place, tied on points with third-placed Ipswich Town, who have one game in hand.

According to reports, both Enzo Maresca’s team and Leeds United are interested in signing the Spain-born Republic of Ireland U21 international to improve their defences next season.

AS says his contract expires in 2026, and Transfermarkt values him at €1 million. If PEC Zwolle decides to part ways with MacNulty, they will most certainly seek a greater sum, and Transfermarkt values are frequently far from accurate.
