Tim Walter, the former manager of Hamburg, visited Nottingham Forest in England.

At least that’s what Sky Deutschland is claiming, and they also mention that the German was there in the directors’ box throughout their Sunday match against Manchester City.

Walter hasn’t had a job since leaving Hamburg in February, and he has only succeeded in his own nation thus far.

The 48-year-old is reportedly open to taking on a new challenge, possibly one that takes place outside of Germany.
“One trail leads to Nottingham Forest,” it is revealed, referring to the place where Nuno Espírito Santo has been in command since December. The Portuguese strategist was brought in to help the Reds enhance their Premier League chances after Steve Cooper was benched.

A point ahead of Luton Town in 18th place in the league, Nottingham Forest is presently ranked 17th. It’s uncertain if Nuno Espírito Santo’s job will be secure should he assist the team in avoiding relegation.

Following his visit to Nottingham Forest’s home stadium yesterday, there have been speculations that Walter will take Nuno Espírito Santo’s place for the upcoming season.

But when asked about the Nottingham Forest job by Sky Deutschland, Walter “did not want to comment.”
