Confirmed:Alexander Isak to exit newcastle amid manchester united interest in the summer
This summer, Newcastle United want to hold onto its best players, but they may have to sell.
Former Magpies striker Louis Saha claims that Alexander Isak of Newcastle United has improved to such a
degree this season that he is now a target for elite European clubs.
However, the Frenchman’s suggestion that Manchester United should consider making a move, should he be
available this summer, will not be well received by the St. James’ Park supporters. Although Eddie Howe is
eager to maintain his key assets at St James’ Park, Newcastle may have to sell some of their best players if they
wish to make a significant summer window investment.
Isak has also been linked to Arsenal and Tottenham, while there has been speculation of interest in Bruno
Guimaraes. Although it’s questionable if Newcastle would be willing to sell any of its players to a Premier
League rival, Saha, who spent a year on loan at the Magpies in 1999 before moving on to play for Man United,
Fulham, and Everton, among other teams, believes the Old Trafford team ought to give the Swede some
consideration.
Saha told Betfred, “He’s a top player and he’s really raised his game this season.” “He has a lot of flare, excellent
link-up play, is really sharp, and can cut in from either side to create opportunities for himself. It’s an excellent
pairing.
“Being tall, he could potentially be a better target man in the box, but he can play with other strikers and has
shown that he can link up well with Newcastle’s wingers.” I think he may be a great addition for Manchester
United if he’s free this summer.
Much of this season’s outcome, which Newcastle hopes to achieve ahead of Erik ten Hag’s team, will hinge on
the encounter at Old Trafford on May 15. Isak’s season total of 23 goals, including 19 in the Premier League,
increased to 23 after he scored twice more in Saturday’s 5-1 victory over Sheffield United.
