View:West Ham arrival will potentially mean the end for Axel Tuanzebe.

Ipswich Town will probably be aware that in order to guarantee their spot in the Premier League for the

following season, they must win their final three games.

The Tractor Boys have had an incredible season in 2023–2024; after all, they were only promoted to the

Championship the previous season.

However, Kieran McKenna‘s team has produced some outstanding football throughout the season,

which has contributed to their point total.

It goes without saying that the club will operate in a different division this summer if they are promoted rather

than if they stay in the Championship.

This is evident immediately, as the team has been strongly connected to a deal for Ben Johnson, a defender for West Ham United.

It’s said that the Tractor Boys have now joined the list of people who respect Johnson,

in addition to a few members of the Championship.

Ipswich Town enters the Ben Johnson transfer competition

Ben Johnson of West Ham was being pursued by Leeds United, as Daniel Farke was eager to bolster his full-back corps.

This was initially reported in January. That was done by the club, but Connor Roberts was added in the process.

However, Southampton, who was also exploring a move and was keen on the player,

joined Leeds in the same month.

The Daily Mirror (21/4 paper edition; page 71) now claims that although they are still interested in the player,

Ipswich Town is now posing a threat.

According to the source, the Tractor Boys are keeping a watch on Johnson because his contract with the

Premier League team ends at the conclusion of this season, and he will be free to sign elsewhere if a new

agreement cannot be reached.

Axel Tuanzebe, a current Town player who has had a lot of action in that part of the pitch this season,

may be heading for the exit if Ipswich wins the fight for the full-back position.

Of course, this is all chatter at this point as no deal has been progressed.
