The 19-year professional career of the former England international is about to come to an end,
and City is prepared to have discussions with him about his future.
Hart, who played more than 200 games for City in all competitions between 2006 and 2018,
is not interested in pursuing a coaching career, which is why non-footballing options are being considered.
After he retires, the 37-year-old will likely choose his next course of action, while staying at Celtic
is still an option.
In January, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers stated, “It’s nothing that we’re looking at just now,”
in reference to Hart. We also need to examine other topics.
“There will be spots that we can get better at in the summer, and the same will be true in January.
But Joe is a fantastic guy, and I adore working with him.
“I believe he’s just content to be playing at that age. Joe has demonstrated tremendous dedication
to being up here because his family is in the south. If you are not playing at the top level, are you
going to stay up here by yourself without your family?
He’s had a lengthy career, and I enjoy spending every day with him. He’s been a terrific guy and
exudes positivity.

What next for Joe Hart
For now, Hart will remain focused on ending the season in the best way possible with Celtic.
Rodgers’ side currently hold a three point lead on Rangers in second across the Scottish
Premiership as the Hoops look to retain the title.
Elsewhere, the two sides will also meet in the Scottish Cup final on May 25.
