IT’S OFFICIAL : The £100million release clause in Bruno Guimaraes’ Newcastle United contract is only active until Tomorrow

Prior to the summer transfer season, Arsenal, Manchester City,

and Paris Saint-Germain are showing interest in the 26-year-old,

but Newcastle is determined to hang onto the Brazil international.

If Guimaraes’ clause is activated, though,

Newcastle won’t be able to let him go until the end of June.

As a result, any Premier League opponent looking to sign

Guimaraes will have to include the cost in their calculations for this year’s profitability

and sustainability rules (PSR) in their financial statements.

Arsenal, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain are expressing interest in

the 26-year-old prior to the summer transfer window, but Newcastle is adamant about holding onto the Brazil international.

However, Newcastle won’t be allowed to let Guimaraes leave until

the end of June if his clause is activated.

This means that any Premier League rival hoping to sign Guimaraes will

in their financial reports.
