Tottenham has some selection concerns going into this weekend’s north London game.
In fact, Ange Postecoglou’s midfield has been disorganised for a long, and Destiny Udogie is
currently sidelined.
Pedro Porro, the right back, is also questionable going into this match, but fortunately, there seems
to be some good news on this front.
Alasdair Gold stated on the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast that preliminary indications
point to Porro being fit for this weekend’s match, but further verification is required.
Pedro Porro could be fit
Gold discussed his impressions of the defender.
In other places, it appears that Pedro Porro might make a comeback. There are early indications
that he could be in the running, but Gold stated that all it takes is one training session where it
doesn’t seem right or some individual training where it doesn’t look right. We’re waiting for confirmation on that in the press conference tomorrow.
Pedro Porro’s fitness is a big boost for Tottenham
Tottenham will benefit greatly from this in the lead-up to the derby this weekend.
There is every reason to think that there is still hope for this game.
The two most significant attacking players for Arsenal are, as we all know, Gabriel Martinelli and
Bukayo Saka, who play on the wings. Arsenal’s main defensive weakness is undoubtedly left-back,
and with Porro back in the lineup, they may be able to take advantage of that vulnerability.
Porro may be a defender, but there’s no denying that the right-back is most effective when he’s
charging forward. If he plays, Porro can provide Arsenal something new to worry about defensively.
