John O’Shea, a former defender for Manchester United, is probably going to continue leading the Republic of Ireland in their temporary capacity during the June international friendly.

After failing to lead the Irish to a spot at Euro 2024,

Stephen Kenny’s contract was not renewed,

and the former United player was handed the responsibility in February.

In March, O’Shea managed a thrilling 0-0 draw in Dublin against Belgium and a close 0-1 loss to Switzerland at home.
