The Rangers move is backed by the stands,

and the Aberdeen star made an impression on the Celtic manager.

Brendan Rodgers praised Bojan Miovski after his goal for Aberdeen against Celtic,

and the crowd applauded a Rangers move.

Minutes into a thrilling Scottish Cup semifinal match between the Dons and Hoops,

the striker scored. Ester Sokler forced overtime,

and when Matt O’Riley’s goal appeared to have given Celtic the victory,

Angus MacDonald forced penalties that allowed Rodgers’ team to win the shootout 6-5.

Miovski was linked to a move to Celtic back in January, but nothing materialized.

Come summertime, there will undoubtedly be rumors of an Aberdeen departure surrounding the striker,

who Rodgers himself acknowledges as a talented player.

“I think we weren’t tight enough in our positioning and as I said,

they were quite bright in midfield and combined really well to get through,” Rodgers remarked in an interview with BBC Sport Scotland.

“Their striker is an excellent player.

Yes, there was simply too much room. You have to give them credit for scoring a really excellent goal

because we launched an attack before we had the chance to even get possession of the ball.

It coincides with an Ibrox fan survey that indicates Rangers supporters want to see Miovski in blue for the upcoming campaign.

Approximately 2,300 fans participated in an Ibrox Noise poll

asking which of Lawrence Shankland, Abdallah Sima, and Miovski would be worth wagering £6 million on.

Of these, 73% picked the Aberdeen striker.

Hearts player Shankland received 21% of the vote, while Sima received only 3% of the total.
