Paik Seung-ho, a midfielder for Birmingham City, is a target for Sunderland this summer, per a Football Insider report.
During the January transfer window, Sunderland was hoping to sign the South Korean international.
In the end, 27-year-old Seung-ho signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Blues.

But according to Football Insider’s most recent report on his circumstances,

the Black Cats are “plotting” a fresh move for him at the end of this season.

The league Birmingham City plays in the following season may have an impact on Seung-ho’s future there.

Gary Rowett’s team is currently fighting for its life with two games remaining.

He is not expected to remain with the Midlands team should they drop into League One.

He might receive a Championship lifeline from Sunderland as they get ready for the upcoming season.

With Michael Beale leaving, the North East club still needs to decide who to appoint as their new permanent

manager, leaving Mike Dodds in temporary leadership.

Seung-ho would infuse experience into the young Black Cats’ ranks while also providing them with greater competitiveness and depth in the middle of the park.

all competitions and scored 11 goals.

United.

Saturday before they return to action.
