DONE DEAL : Newcastle defeats Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United to sign a real Madrid Star

Ferland Mendy of Real Madrid is apparently being pursued by a number of teams, including Manchester United,

Liverpool, and Arsenal; nevertheless, it is thought that the midfielder has no interest of joining Newcastle.
The fact that Eduardo Camavinga has started a lot of left back for Carlo Ancelotti’s team this season has raised concerns about Mendy’s long-term prospects.

The 28-year-old left back is being sought after by the Spanish powerhouses,

who have been linked to a move for Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich.

Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly communicated with Mendy’s agents to inquire about the left back’s interest in a summer transfer,

according to L’Equipe.

They go on to say that Manchester City is supposedly keeping an eye on the situation,

but United is pushing to sign the Frenchman.

With Oleksandr Zinchenko reportedly out of the picture,

Arsenal is reportedly considering their alternatives at the position;

on the other hand, Mendy would be seen as an improvement for United given Luke Shaw’s injury issues.

According to reports, Newcastle was one of the Premier League teams interested in signing the left defender.

However, Mendy is apparently unwilling to sign with the Magpies because he wants to play for a more prestigious team.

Mendy has made 32 appearances overall for Madrid, but they have not yet determined how much to expect for him.
