According to insiders who spoke to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest will ask for much more than £20 million for Murillo this summer.

Transfer reporter Pete O’Rourke stated in the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast

that the Reds could want a “huge” fee for 21-year-old Murillo following his outstanding first season at the City

Ground.

The defender is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League powerhouses Liverpool, Chelsea, and

Manchester United in addition to Paris Saint-Germain.

This week (April 14), Football Insider was informed by reliable sources that Forest might be obliged to sell

Murillo this summer because they may need to approve player sales due to concerns about their viability and

profitability.

Murillo’s Nottingham Forest will seek a “huge” price.

He left Brazilian team Corinthians to join the Midlands club for an alleged £15 million last summer, and he has

since flourished in Forest’s defense.

The Brazilian has started every Premier League match he has been eligible for since his arrival, making him a

mainstay under both Steve Cooper and Nuno Espirito Santo this season.

The Reds, who face relegation, might need to approve player transactions before June 30 in order to clear their

books and prevent suffering yet another humiliating deduction of points.

Football Insider reported on April 12 that the team might have to accept a bid for Chris Wood,

the team’s standout striker, during the off-season.

A transfer for superstar Morgan Gibbs-White is also possible, as Football Insider reported on April 1 that

Tottenham and Newcastle United will need to spend more than £50 million to sign him this summer.

Following their 2-2 draw with Wolves on Saturday afternoon, Nottingham Forest is now ranked 17th in the

Premier League standings (13 April).

On Sunday afternoon, April 21, they will return to action at Goodison Park against 16th-place Everton.
