Harwood-Bellis, 22, has made 38 appearances in all competitions for the Saints this season and has scored two goals.

According to reporter Nixon on his Patreon page, the Tractor Boys want to snap him up in the next transfer window.

Harwood-Bellis would be an ideal signing for Ipswich if they were able to land him from Manchester City.

The Stockport-born man would suit Kieran McKenna’s style of play and has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

He progressed through the Etihad Stadium academy system and has made eight appearances

for his parent club’s first squad thus far in his career.

Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, Stoke City, and Burnley were his previous stops away

from City until he made his temporary move to Southampton in September.

Harwood-Bellis spent the last campaign with the Clarets and helped them win the second

tier title under the guidance of Vincent Kompany.

He is aiming to get promoted again this term with Southampton before heading back to Pep Guardiola’s side in the summer.

It wouldn’t be shocking if he left City permanently at some time soon as his long-term future there is uncertain.

Ipswich drew 1-1 at home against Middlesbrough this past weekend; they are currently concentrating on improving.

The next game for McKenna’s team is an away trip to Hull City on April 27. After that,

they play Coventry City and Huddersfield Town to close off the season.
