Breaking News: Sunderland agreed terms to sign €6.9M best wingers from Championship as Jack Clarke replace

Sunderland ought to try to bring in one of the top wingers in the Championship to replace Jack Clarke.

Moving to Wearside would definitely be a step up, and even though the Black Cats have had a difficult season, Whittaker will be aware of

the club’s track record of turning young players into true stars.

The “brilliant” forward would be playing at the Stadium of Light every week and might have the team constructed around him. He would

also undoubtedly be aware of our excellent chances of gaining promotion if we can have

a far more fruitful transfer window this time around.

It is unclear how much Whittaker would cost, but Sunderland should be able to compete financially

if they can earn a hefty fee from Clarke’s departure.

The Plymouth star could instead be offered the chance to move straight to the Premier League, but there is definitely no harm in trying to

lure him up north with the promise of a key position at the club and the chance to drive us back to the top flight himself.
