Chris Sutton aim a sly dig at Rangers ‘moral victory’ following their 3-2 defeat against Ross County
The Highlanders rallied from behind to shock title-chasing Rangers with a superb second half effort.
Last weekend’s 3-3 draw against Celtic was dubbed “a moral victory” by Light Blues manager Philippe Clement,
with substitute Rabbi Matondo scoring an injury-time equaliser to earn a point after being 2-0 down.
Rangers’ subsequent match against Dingwall was meaningless, and Sutton wasted no time in bringing up Clement’s words,
claiming they couldn’t even generate “a moral victory”.
Ross County have never beaten the Glasgow giants in 24 previous efforts before today’s remarkable result.
The former Hoops striker wrote on X: “Not even a moral victory today…””Well played, Ross County.”
