‘Classroom idiot’ – Four Lads savage Chris Sutton and Michael Stewart for Rangers comments

Four Lads have slammed former Celtic striker Chris Sutton and ex-Manchester United midfielder Michael Stewart for their comments about Rangers.

The duo continuously criticizes everything related with the Ibrox club and are always looking to take jabs at their players or coaches.

Sutton covers the game for Sky Sports, and Stewart works as a pundit for the BBC.

On April 10, Four Lads said on their website, “In Chris Sutton, we have someone who is the Jekyll and Hyde of the punditry world.” South of the border, he is sensible, measured, and nearly normal. But the moment he covers Scottish football, he puts on the green-tinted spectacles, the clown mask, and plays the character of the classroom fool for  his employers, for that’s seemingly what they want.

“He is a performing actor who is willing to make himself look like a stupid in exchange for his paycheck, discarding the semi-reasonable persona he presents to England and transforming into nothing more than a prejudiced cheerleader whom we must suffer.

“Michael Stewart, on the other hand, does not benefit from Sutton’s normal alter ego.

The failed Rangers trialist – not that he’s bitter – must be one of the worst commentators in sports.

Stewart, like Sutton, is certainly biased, to the point where Tom English called him out on this weekend’s show,

but he also makes the fatal mistake of misjudging his own intelligence.

“As a combination, this is particularly toxic and results in a level of insight that actually has you feeling your own brain cells decaying as you listen.”

Stewart and Sutton are as anti-Rangers as they come.

Sutton and Stewart are unquestionably two of the worst Scottish football analysts,

owing to their overt bias toward Celtic and against the Gers, particularly the former.

Their commentary lacks impartiality and professionalism, frequently discounting Rangers’ accomplishments and portraying them poorly.

Sutton and Stewart regularly overlook Celtic’s or the club’s shortcomings in comparison to the Gers,

resulting in one-sided, imbalanced coverage.

This lack of neutrality not only jeopardizes the credibility of their analysis,

but also alienates viewers looking for fair and knowledgeable comments.

Their purpose as commentators is to provide intelligent analysis rather than to act as fans of a particular side.

Their approach is viewed as detrimental to the credibility of sports journalism and the entire viewing experience for viewers who expect objective reporting.
