Rangers Finally Break the Silence Over Troubling Ibrox Scenes, as SFA are on serious investigation, as Rodgers side are on advantage

Days after troubling scenes at Ibrox during the Glasgow Derby, where objects including coins and a glass bottle were hurled at Celtic players and staff, Rangers have yet to issue a formal statement addressing the incident.

The club’s silence has been notable, particularly after a series of public condemnations from Celtic, who have labeled the conduct as “totally unacceptable.

“When Celtic’s Matt O’Riley converted a penalty to put his club ahead 2-0, he was attacked with a glass bottle.

These occurrences are part of a troubling trend of missile throwing by home fans at Ibrox,

which has not only harmed the atmosphere of the game but also raised concerns about safety at such high-stakes matches.

While Rangers’ management has remarked on the instances,

noting that such behaviour is unacceptable at Ibrox or elsewhere,

he has confessed that he did not witness the actions firsthand.

“I didn’t see that; I heard that,” he said, as reported by the Herald. “I don’t want objects being thrown on the pitch, not at Ibrox.

We’ve got it a couple times on different pitches against us, so it’s not good.

So the club is busy trying to figure out who is doing it. This is not what we want at our club.”

Despite these acknowledgements, Rangers’ lack of a formal statement has been obvious.

Celtic have voiced their severe concerns directly to Rangers,

requesting a prompt response and assurance that similar instances will be handled with the seriousness they deserve.
