However, the same report states that Liverpool “may face strong competition” for Patterson, as Arsenal, Leeds United, and Celtic have all rekindled their interest in the player in addition to Leicester City.

Patterson plays a key role for Sunderland and is undoubtedly a competent goalie.

They would be receiving a substantial salary for a player that the team has grown over time, enhancing the club’s reputation as a fantastic environment for up-and-coming talents.
