Breaking News: Saudi Arabian agreed terms to sign €7.8M Rangers Hero

According to Alex Crook, Saudi Arabian teams are prepared to pay a high price to acquire Rangers captain James Tavernier.

Ettifaq, led by Steven Gerrard, is one of the interested parties.

Tavernier is said to be a “big-money” target for the mega-rich clubs after becoming the highest-scoring British defender of all time last week.

Tavernier has been “exceptional” for Rangers not just this season but throughout his tenure with the team,

according to Philippe Clement.

Even while the full-back has occasionally faced criticism from fans, notably earlier this season,

he has always stood up for what is right.

A large amount of his goals tally may be made up of penalties, but his record from the spot has been superb.

Should he be snapped up by a Saudi Arabian club – or a team from anywhere for that matter – it would leave an almighty void to be filled.

Naturally, money talks, but Rangers shouldn’t consider cashing in this summer unless a sizable amount is offered.

Eventually, Tavernier’s tenure at Ibrox will come to an end, and when it does, he will go as a club legend.

In other Rangers news, there has been “concern” expressed about the possibility that

a forthcoming match won’t go as scheduled.
