Rajon Rondo of the Chicago Bulls, an executive vice president of basketball operations, was fined $25,000 on Sunday for trying to trip Jae Crowder of the Boston Celtics.

The incident happened with 31.1 seconds left in the first quarter of the Bulls’ April 21 at United Center, 104-87 loss to the Celtics.
