Introduced with just over 20 minutes remaining, the Irishman left a lasting impression, unsettling Rangers‘ defense before finding the net minutes from time.

Speaking to Celtic TV post-match, Idah described his debut Glasgow derby experience as “crazy” and expressed his readiness for future clashes against Rangers.

“I thought the boys done excellent from start to finish; to get the early goal was amazing, it was crazy! My first time being here, it’s amazing, and what the boys did with no fans is fantastic,” Idah reflected.

Looking ahead, Idah assured, “We take each game as it comes now. We’ve got a game next Saturday, and that’ll be a good test for us; when the next game comes (vs Rangers), we’ll be ready for it.”

Since joining Celtic on loan during the winter transfer window, the 23-year-old has left a significant mark. With six goals and two assists in 11 appearances for the Hoops, Idah has been a valuable addition, averaging a goal contribution every 70 minutes in green and white.
