Report:£24,804,000 defender to join Ipswich town on a free transfer from west ham this summer
This summer, Ipswich Town might think about bringing former player Aaron Cresswell back to the team on a free
transfer from West Ham, but only if they make it to the Premier League the following year.
With six games remaining in their Championship table, the Tractor Boys are presently leading the standings after an
impressive campaign.
The intriguing thing is that Leif Davis, the left-back for Ipswich this season, has been linked to West Ham,
which may lead to an easy trade. Davis has developed a reputation for delivering lethal set pieces and is capable of
playing in central defense as well.
Ipswich has shown a Premier League-ready style of play under Kieran McKenna’s direction,
typified by attractive and fast-paced football. Because of this, they could be a desirable transfer target in the next window.
But bringing in an experienced player like Aaron Cresswell might offer invaluable leadership and experience.
Although Cresswell has done a great job for West Ham, his £50k-a-week contract is about to expire this summer,
so a return to Portman Road could be a fitting way for him to end his career.
