Gers star Luis Palma has been medically released by the club’s medical team and
will be included in the squad for this weekend’s game against Philippe Clement’s Rangers.

who both suggest the forward will be in Brendan Rodgers‘ squad when they face Rangers at Ibrox.
Palma has been out of action for more than a month after injuring himself in training ahead of the international break,
causing him to lose out on representing his country.
He had an MRI scan ahead of the break, which indicated he would be out for four weeks, and he has been absent for
be included in the team to face Rangers this weekend as a result.
La Prensa and Diez, however, go a step further, stating that the Honduran
has been medically freed by Celtic’s medical department and ‘will return’ to
the Celtic team ahead of their trip to Ibrox to play old rivals Rangers.
The Honduran’s place in the starting lineup is uncertain,
but he’s back in training and eager to make an impact as Celtic attempt to keep Rangers at bay at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Callum McGregor is preparing to make a spectacular injury comeback against Rangers after returning to full training.
The 30-year-old captain has missed Celtic’s previous four games due to an Achilles injury and
has not played for Scotland in international competitions.
However, the important midfielder was spotted for the first time in training today at Lennoxtown as
Brendan Rodgers’ team completed their final session before Sunday’s historic game at Ibrox.
McGregor was photographed being put through his paces among his colleagues and now appears to be involved this weekend.
Brendan Rodgers will be ecstatic with the news, as he now has an almost fully fit squad to pick from.
Reo Hatate made his long-awaited return in last week’s 3-0 victory over Livingston, while Cameron Carter-Vickers also emerged unhurt.
Before the trip to Livi, Rodgers made it clear that he was not willing to risk McGregor on the artificial surface,
but he expressed confidence that the derby veteran would be available to face the Rangers.
When asked if he had a chance to face Philippe Clement’s team last week, Rodgers replied, “Yes, a very good chance.”
The Parkhead manager will provide an update on McGregor and the rest of the squad during this afternoon’s press conference.
