A monstrosity and embarrassment- Chris Sutton’s Livingston farewell- Chris Sutton will undoubtedly continue to visit Livingston.

Yesterday, the former Celtic striker watched Celtic win 3-0 over David Martindale’s side to reclaim top spot before leaving the Tony Macaroni Arena, with even the sponsors parting ways with the weakest team in the SPFL Premiership.

Livingston is ten points behind Ross County in the Play Offs, having won three of 31 matches with only seven games remaining; it may be a while before Sky Sports returns to the new town.

Fortunately for Celtic, the days of worrying a bloody nose on the plastic are disappearing into the background; Tuesday was their fourth consecutive victory since a reverse relatively early in the season.

After his stint on Sky, Sutton appeared on BBC 5 Live with Robbie Savage, having purged his mind of all things Livingston.
