€3m man suggests he wants permanent rangers exit this summer.

This summer, Rangers must decide what to do with one player on Philippe Clement’s team.

Thankfully, it appears that the gamer could have made that choice a little bit simpler.

Even if the £3 million Ibrox forgotten man managed to return to Glasgow this summer,

it would probably be difficult for Clement to find a spot for him in the team.

The manager of the Rangers has Todd Cantwell and Tom Lawrence, who has been so good since being appointed

before Christmas, vying for the tenth position, not to mention Sam Lammers and Kemar Roofe.

Additionally, Clement has hinted that Rabbi Matondo’s future might be in the center.

Thus, the best-case situation for Ianis Hagi and the Rangers might be a permanent split.

The Romanian national was sent out on loan to Deportivo Alaves due to a severe knee injury that prevented him

from playing much in Glasgow.

Even though things in the Basque Country haven’t exactly gone as planned, Hagi is adamant about remaining in

Spain because he believes that the slower, more technical type of football played in La Liga is more suited to his skill set.

“I adore La Liga’s caliber. Everything in Spain is amazing to me, including the teams,

the rivalry between players and teams, and the pressure that is present. Hagi informs Marca.

It seems to be the league where I can excel the most and fully utilize all of my strengths.

And ever since I was a young child, I have watched this league. Being here has always been my dream.

mI want to stay here for a very long time, thus I’m here right now.

The former Genk ace responded, “Yes, that is where I want to be,” when asked if he still saw himself playing in La Liga in a year. It’s football that I want to develop in. I think the football has the key to releasing the finest version of myself.

“After just six to seven months here, I already feel like I’ve improved as a player.”

Ibrox borrower desires to remain in Spain
Given that Hagi has only started six games so far and has missed more penalties than goals, Alaves supporters may not be overly fond of his stay in Spain. As things stand, Alaves doesn’t seem likely to pursue a long-term agreement.

However, that does not imply that other top-tier Spanish clubs aren’t willing to take a chance on a player who has much more to offer than he has demonstrated over a trying two years.
