Despite transfer rumors, Archie Gray expresses his thoughts about his future at Leeds United.

This season, teenage wonder Archie Gray has been a vital member of Daniel Farke’s promotion-chasing team.

Archie Gray has acknowledged that playing for Leeds United in the Premier League is his ultimate goal.

Currently atop the Championship table, Daniel Farke’s team is poised to fulfill this wish,

but they will acknowledge that there is still a lot of football left to be played until May.

Gray has been essential to the Whites’ success this season; in 38 league games,

he has only missed two, which has aided in the team’s push for promotion.

Due to his outstanding achievements, the 18-year-old has been linked to teams like Manchester City and Liverpool;

however, he has stated that he wants to stay at Elland Road and help the team win titles.

Regarding the possibility of representing Leeds in the top division, Gray said Sky Sports,

“It would mean a lot to me because that is the goal that everyone has here.”

“The club belongs and should be in Leeds, especially because I’m from there.

I’ve always wanted to try and win trophies with Leeds; it’s my childhood dream. Another desire that every English child has is to play for the national team.”

Gray has established himself in the right-back position by playing in 36 of the Whites’ 38 Championship games this season—a total only surpassed by Georginio Rutter and Ethan Ampadu.

“It would have been unrealistic to think I was going to play pretty much all the games,” the teenager said when asked if he was surprised by the overall number of minutes that had been awarded to him.

I put a lot of effort into impressing the manager throughout the preseason.

It was profitable.

It’s been excellent thus far. We’ve had some fantastic victories, and now is the critical time where we simply need to keep working hard and getting the outcomes.”
