Hearts’ plea is unsuccessful

Hearts’ attempt to overturn Lawrence Shankland’s simulation-related yellow card has failed.

Referee Grant Irvine issued a booking to the Jambos captain during Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Ross County in Dingwall.
The Tynecastie leaders filed a “wrongful caution” claim with the Scottish Football Association on Monday.

However, an impartial tribunal at Hampden determined that Irvine made the correct decision and that

Shankland’s yellow card remains after considering Hearts’ submission and examining video evidence.

Heart of Midlothian is shocked to hear that the club’s appeal against Lawrence Shankland’s yellow card was denied,

according to a statement from Hearts.card for the Ross County simulation has been withdrawn.

Lawrence’s leg is visibly connected to the other player’s knee,

a visual that we emphasized during the appeal. Later this week,

the club will find out why the person was fired; at that time,

we will be able to provide further information.

Jordan Obita has extended his contract with Hibs until June 2026,

the Premiership-winning team has announced.

The left-back joined Easter Road from English League One team Wycombe in the summer of last year.

This season, he has made 37 appearances for Hibs in all competitions,

scoring twice. Nick Montgomery, the manager of Hibs, stated: “Jordan is a crucial member of the team.”

Throughout the season, he has been among our most reliable players and offers invaluable expertise to the club.

I’m thrilled that Jordan has decided to pledge his future to Hibs because he has a young family and is loving his football here.
