Premier League clubs are interested in moving midfielders, and Leeds United is prepared for bids.

Football Insider reports that several Premier League clubs are set to make bids for prodigy Archie Gray, so Leeds United is prepared.

This season, 18-year-old Gray has established himself as a staple in Leeds United’s first squad. The Durham native has long been expected to make a big splash, and he has lived up to the lofty expectations of the Whites academy.

Gray’s natural position is in the middle of the park, but he has played 41 times so far in all competitions, mostly at right-back.

It’s not surprise that Gray has attracted attention from other places during the campaign given his remarkable performances at the Championship level at such a young age. Now, new allegations concerning his future have surfaced.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United is expecting bids from other Premier League clubs who are interested in the young midfield player. Gray will have to decide what to do with his future because it appears that interest may pick up in the off-season.

Time will tell.

This summer, a lot of interest in Gray seems inevitable. Due to his consistent and strong play, the teenager’s reputation has grown significantly, and major league teams have undoubtedly taken note.

Although it will take time to see if Gray’s infatuation becomes a transfer, Leeds United does appear to be the greatest fit for him right now. He’s one of the first names on Daniel Farke’s team sheet, so getting him more playing time will be crucial to his development.

It’s possible that the Leeds United-wearing Whites academy alumnus can also ascend to the Premier League.

While Leicester City was playing Chelsea in the FA Cup, Farke and company defeated Millwall on Sunday to take the top spot in the Championship rankings. Although the game is still in the Foxes’ hands, the move puts pressure on Leeds United’s Enzo Maresca and crew to avoid dropping points as they continue their incredible 2024 campaign.
