Kemar Roofe is optimistic about Rangers’ chances of winning the QUADRUPLE next season, and he has hinted at his future at Ibrox.

The injury-prone Jamaican striker is out of contract this summer,

and it is uncertain whether manager Philippe Clement would offer him a new term.

Roofe’s career in Glasgow has been plagued by a number of long-term setbacks since joining the club under Steven Gerrard’s leadership.

However, the 31-year-old has not given up hope of staying with the Light Blues beyond this season,

claiming they are capable of winning every trophy available.

After winning the League Cup in December, the Gers are aiming for a domestic treble this season.

A Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts is on the horizon,

while the ongoing Premiership title chase is likely to provide an exciting conclusion to the season.

With no promises on where he will play football next season,

Roofe has hinted that he would prefer to stay in Govan as he prepares to face a stressful wait for news of a new contract offer.

Roofe stated that accomplishing a treble this season could lead to a quadruple the next season.

Will I be here? Who knows. My contract expires at the end of the season, so you need to ask the people above that question.

I don’t know. You’d need to ask the gaffer and people that are in control of the contracts.”

Roofe admits he has enjoyed working with Clement so far and is implementing all of his tactics despite a shortage of minutes.

He continued, “I genuinely enjoy playing in this squad and under the coach.

What the manager has brought to the club is huge. I believe you will see the consequences next season.

“He came in this season, and everyone is learning his style of play and what he wants. He does the opposite.

Getting a few niggles and minor injuries out of the way this season means that the machine should be fully operational next season.

“It’s a fantastic club, and the fan following is incredible. Participating in events such as the Champions League and Europa League is incredible. But right now, I am just trying to play games this season, do my best and get as many trophies as we can.”
