Due to his outstanding play at Rangers this season, the 31-year-old goalkeeper from Ibrox is certain to be called up to the England squad for the first time in more than five years.

A recall would be a great testimonial to the goalie’s form since joining the Rangers in the summer, since he has nine caps for the Three Lions in his career.

However, it looks that Joe Gomez, who has been waiting four years for an England recall, will also receive recognition for his excellent play in addition to Jack Butland.

Any player north of the border finds it difficult to crack the England team, and although Butland plays goalkeeping, his performances while wearing a Rangers jersey are noteworthy.
