£59m PSG man asks question of Rangers star as Premier League duo impressed by Ibrox ‘machine’

Premier League players and a PSG player have weighed in on Fabio Silva’s most recent Rangers exploits.

The striker did well against Benfica in the Europa League last week, and he then won against Hibs when playing in

the Scottish Cup. He has four goals after joining on loan from Wolves in January.

He has gained notoriety on Instagram by posting about how much he enjoyed his most recent Ibrox excursion. His

former PSV teammate Xavi Simons responded to his performance against Hibs with a mysterious remark. The PSG

player, who Transfermarkt values at £59.8 million, asked, “What time is it?” while on loan at RB Leipzig.

That was an open goal for some Rangers fans. One replied ‘It’s time for you to get to Ibrox son.’ Another said ‘time to

come to Rangers’ and one more added ‘time for you to sign for the Gers.’

Wolves players Nelson Semedo and Jose Sa praised Silva’s first post, which said, “Next round.” While Semedo said

“Máquina,” which translates to “Machine” in Portuguese, Sa tweeted a fire emoji.

The striker has stated his intention to stay for the long run while on loan at Rangers until the end of the current

campaign. He said to BBC Scotland, “I’m having a great time here.” These aren’t entirely within my control. Staying

is not entirely my choice; if it were, I may say yes. However, I could answer “yes,”

in which case you would still have a lot of work to do.

“Maybe I have the least say in whether or not I stay here, but we have two months to enjoy the game and win titles. If

all goes well and we win trophies after that, I believe Rangers and I will make every effort to keep me here.

“Everything seems to be going well when you see me playing with a smile on my face. I want to play here for the

support of my teammates, the staff, and the spectators. Being here is a delight. It’s really enjoyable for me. They’re

bringing me happiness, which is what I’ve been striving to regain.”
